The program is designed to train and certify providers to supervise children in their own homes. “This class is one of our most popular programs,” said Ann Jawin, Chair of the Board of Directors of CWNY. The course provides professional early childhood development training. The 15 hours Health and Safety Training competency program for new and existing childcare providers will benefit people in need of assistance. There is a dire need for qualified day care providers in this city. Starting registration fee will be $25 and cost of the training program will be $150. Opportunities are provided for full remuneration for applicants who complete the program. For detailed information about this program, please call Cynthia Schemmer at 718-793-0672. We are also offering the 30-hour course required for professional development for current providers of child day care to maintain their license.
